This video has been going around the internet for the past few days and it makes me sick, angry, furious, etc. I only got to discover this last night when my friends shared with me.
This skinny chao ah beng was trying to train his toy poodle named 'Sushi' to stand on its 2 hind legs. And he seemed very obsessed with getting the dog to stand on it's 2 hind legs and the way how it must stand. It's like come on, dogs are not born to stand like us. It's an ability if it does, like some people cannot roll their tongues.
He repeated in Cantonese, 'Stand Up!', 'Look Up!', 'Stand Up Straight!', '... or I'll PUNCH YOU!!!', and was asking his girlfriend who was filming, 'why his back-bone has no strength?'. The girl can be heard saying in Mandarin, 'Dear, enough, 10 minutes already', and, 'Dear, there is some blood at the mouth...'.
Repeatedly, the poor dog was punched, kicked, strangled, thrown, slammed against the wall, pulled at its leg, slapped, ABUSED. Sushi got so weak from the abuse that, even after it was thrown or sent flying after a punch or kick, it didn't bother trying to get up or run. And at one point, it fell off the small platform it was 'standing' on and was too tired to even get up or move, but instead just waited for the jerk to come back to pick him up and continue the abuse.
From his tattoos, the ring on his finger, and his plain ugliness, the infuriated netizens managed to 'human flesh' him out and tracked down the couple's identity, car license plate number, and even their Facebook profile. The SPCA in both Malaysia and Singapore were alerted to the case and the Malaysian authorities are apparently going to do something about it.
Reports suggest that Sushi the poodle has already died. I think it happened 3 years back. I hope it's in a better place now..
It's really a sad thing that has happened. I can only imagine if that was the couple's son. How will that guy treat his own kid next time. Growing under this family, what kind of kids will they nature? How in turn will it benefit the society? Violence is not the way to solve things.
I used to work as a part time dog handler last time, dogs do not learn even if u keep shouting or hitting them. They will only recognise what they did was wrong, NOT LEARN. The proper way is to reward them after pulling off a stunt or doing the right thing. They relate every reward or punishment with the previous actions they do. So please, learn to train a dog before attempting to train 1.. And they do not understand human language. But the pitch of our sound. High pitch voice= happy, excited. Low pitch voice = angry, sad, defensive.

ReplyDeleteI can't get over this sweet innocent little boy been brutally assulted over and over untill he drops from exhustion and unimaginable pain hence, probably dying soon after the only option. I only wish this torturous demonic monster met a fate a million times more evil than he just meted out to Sushi, the defenceless sweet natured dog. RIP Sushi.You are loved by many. May your vile abuser monster rot enternal in Hell
ReplyDeleteIs there any closure to this case? I hope that they were eventually apprehended. So many years later.. I still feel so upset for Sushi.
