Far East Movement @ Wavehouse

Far East Movement is in Singapore!
Location: Wavehouse Sentosa

In case you don't know, they are the band that sang like a cheese stick! I mean like a G6.. what a nice location to hold their concert at, a beach! Everybody's in their beach wear attire and bikini babes are all over the dance floor.

I was lucky enough to be given free tickets to this event by F&N. So proud to be an F&N campus ambassador! I even had a chance to go for their meet and greet session whereby we get upclose, shake hands and take pictures.

The event started off with hosts, Shan and Ross from 98.7fm who oversaw drinking, dance and catwalk contests to keep the hype up. Although the event started only 2 hours after the official schedule printed but no one made any noises.

And finally the boys are out! J-Splif, Kev Nish, DJ Virman and Prohgress. The highlights of the night is definitely 'Like a G6' and 'Rocketeer'. Awesome! Who’d have thought a hip hop outfit would have so much adrenaline coursing through their veins? Gone are the rigid hand and shoulder movements. Also are the bicycle chains, XXL tees, New Era caps and jeans so huge you could breed chickens in them—the boys maintained a slick, preppy style and polished it off with their signature look, the black wayfarers.

I couldn't but help myself to notice this very hip uncle who also loves Far East Movement. I did a short record of him to show how Far East Movement influences us, no matter how young or old we are.
